Keep Moving Forward

Last year around this time we ran a spartan race in Colorado springs. It was awesome, and terribly difficult! Spread throughout the course are water-stations that were manned by volunteers who would encourage us along the route; “great job” / “keep going” / “you’ve got this!” and tips for the next portion of the race. Simple encouragement through the ups & downs made a difference along the way. The same is true in life having someone to come along side dust you off, build you up, and push you forward. The book of Philippians describes this type of relationship that Paul had with the Philippian church they encouraged him with a gift showing their support and he encouraged them to keep going!
