Wake Up In Your Walk

It’s possible to believe the gospel and still grow careless over time. Faith can slowly drift into routine, and obedience can begin to feel optional instead of urgent. And before we know it, spiritual alertness gives way to spiritual sleep. As Romans 13 continues, Paul shifts from authority and responsibility to urgency and holiness. He calls believers to wake up spiritually and live in light of what Christ has done. In this message, Pastor Jeff reminds us that salvation is complete and secure in Christ, but that doesn’t remove the call to live differently. As Paul urges the church to cast off moral carelessness and put on Christ, we’re invited to take God’s Word seriously and walk in the freedom He’s given us.
