The Danger of Self-Deception

You can go to church every week, give faithfully, and try your best to live right — and still ignore the quiet voice of conviction inside. It’s easy to mistake outward obedience for inward surrender. You may look great compared to others, but deep down, you know when God is pressing on something you’ve refused to let go. In Romans chapter two, Paul speaks to those who appear righteous but have learned to silence the conviction of sin. He reminds us that God’s standard isn’t based on what others see, but on what He sees within the heart. Today, Pastor Jeff shows how dangerous it can be to push down that conviction — and how freedom comes when we finally let God have all of our heart.
