Have You Forgotten?
You’ve probably had seasons where your heart felt distant from God—not because you stopped believing, but because life crowded out the reminders of His goodness. You know the right things, you’ve seen God work before, yet somehow His love feels less personal when you’re tired, overwhelmed, or stretched thin. And in those moments, it’s easy to forget the privileges and blessings you already stand in.
In Romans 9, Paul stops to remember the benefits God gave His people—identity, covenant, promises, and belonging. He does this to show how easily hearts drift when they forget what God has already done.
And when life pulls us in different directions, we need something solid enough to bring our hearts back too.
Today Pastor Jeff reminds us that the benefits of faith aren’t distant ideas—they’re the personal gifts God has given to anchor us when circumstances shake us. And as we learn to remember who God is and what He’s done, we rediscover the strength to keep walking with Him.
