Sustaining Joy

Philippians is a book that focuses on Joy, which is interesting because Paul wrote this book while he was on house arrest in Rome. We tend to think joy comes from our circumstances but Paul teaches in Philippians that joy is rooted in Jesus Christ – who gives it freely! As we look at chapter 1 we will have 3 takeaways that gave Paul great joy in the midst of a tumultuous time.
