In 1 Kings 19 we’ll study a great character of the Bible - the prophet Elijah. Elijah was a man God used during a tough time in Israel’s history. A time of rampant Idol worship, and evil kings ruling selfishly. Elijah is a seemingly larger than life figure but he’s a person just like you and I! And that’s why we’re studying him tonight, because God uses people like you and I. God uses us in spite of ourselves. Elijah was a man that struggled with disappointment and depression.
