We’re going to take this week and next week to explore the book of the prophet Haggai.
Although this is among the shortest books of the Bible it contains very powerful exhortations that not only apply to the Jewish people after their return from captivity to Babylon, but to us in our day as well.
The book of Haggai is comprised of four short prophetic exhortations that were given to the Jews that had settled in the area of Jerusalem and Judea during the mid 6th BC.
His prophecies were spoken during a three month period, one of the shortest active ministry times of any servant in the Bible.
