No Direction & No Purpose

May 17, 2023

In the first chapter of Acts we see 120 disciples waiting in Jerusalem for the next steps while continuing to worship God. The promise of the Holy Spirit had not yet been received — so they had no direction, no power, and no purpose. However, the announcement that Jesus would return to the very place they saw Him ascend from - resulted in excitement, unity, and endurance to continue. Sometimes life can feel that way for us too when we lose a right perspective but knowing Jesus is coming back for us should spark that same enthusiasm within us. Today we continue with Pastor Jeff in a series we’ve titled “God of the Impossible.”
