Why God Takes The Long Way

The longer road might be exactly where God is taking you.

Pastor Jeff Cramer continues in Exodus 13 with one of the more curious details

in the Exodus narrative. After leaving Egypt, God doesn't take Israel the short

way to the Promised Land. He takes them the long way — through the wilderness —

because the short way ran straight into a war they weren't ready for. Jeff

makes the point plainly: the Christian life is a battleground, not a playground.

He closes with three ways God is still leading his people today.
