The Battle Before the Battle

First Samuel 17:12-31 reveals that public victories are always forged in private moments of faithfulness. Long before David faced Goliath in the valley, he had to conquer the unseen battles of daily obedience, God-centered perspective, and criticism from those closest to him. When the world demands we focus on the size of our problems, scripture invites us to measure our challenges against the magnitude of our God. By learning to tune out the voice of the enemy and anchoring our trust in the Lord, we find the courage to stand firm in the face of any giant.
