Paul uses the first three chapter is this epistle to emphasize this truth to the believers in Ephesus where the temple of Artemis was located the worlds historical wealth & famous art was stored. This was a message that the Ephesian believers would have understood well. In chapter 5 Paul uses this illustration to point those believers to action & response:
