Marks of a Devoted Christian: Prayer

Do you remember when you got saved? Was there a great excitement for God’s word and to be around God’s people? This describes the disciples in Acts 2 where we find 3000 new converts after Peter’s first message who had a fresh passion & excitement to follow Jesus. But as time goes on, we know that that excitement can wear off and we often look to the next greatest thing or big-time pastor to give us a compelling vision. But, if any Christian or church is going to function as God intends — each of us must know, understand, and apply God’s word personally! So, knowing this, how do we live as Christians?
