Expanding Into The Future
Updates from Pastor Jeff:

Hello Church!
2025 is flying by and our God continues reaching and changing lives. As we near mid-year we have taken another step of faith to secure a new building lease for the expansion of ministry. Some of the immediate expansion includes: 1) Consolidating children’s ministry and youth ministry under one roof, while enlarging the classrooms; 2) Doubling the size of the cafe for fellowship; 3) Plans to expand the sanctuary in January of 2026. This expansion is a blessing for those who call Westminster Calvary their home, but it is also a physical location where life-on-life ministry occurs on a daily basis. Hurting people are healed, restored, and given new life. As your pastor, I want to stress the importance of the role each one of you plays.
I’m reminded of this Bible verse (Eph. 4:16) “He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.”
Will you join me in this adventure of faith as we follow the Lord into deeper water? Can I ask you to show your support by demonstrating your faith in tangible acts of love? Take a look at the list below for the opportunities before us.

Hello Church!
The ministry rest during July is coming to an end and we are preparing for August. As I revealed back in April / May / & June… August would mark the start of building out the new Cafe’ and Children’s space.
So may we draw strength and perspective from our daily reading thru the Bible this year. In our current section of (2 Chronicles 24), I noticed two things:
1) The people were directed to give money for Gods house (v.5).
2) The money provided what was needed for the steady building progress (v.13).
How awesome is that!?! God is leading us right in this very moment 🎉
Can I encourage you to bring your financial contributions so we can resume building.
We are waiting for the final engineers reports for the city plans and the release of the building permit (3rd week of August). The current estimated monies needed to start is $40k.

UPDATE:
After several months of waiting quietly for a building permit, I am happy to announce that we have a building permit in hand. Praise God! We are so excited to move forward.
Over the last several months everything has been on hold from a human perspective. But, behind the scenes, God has arranged many details to complete this expansion project. This ministry expansion is a no debt, no loan project and is being fully funded from your generous contributions. We trust that as God moves in your life, He will prompt you to support His work without being pressured or manipulated to give.
OVERVIEW:
The project was originally estimated to cost $630,000. The break down looks like this: Square footage to develop = 4,200 sq ft. The average 2025 cost to finish commercial / retail space in Denver, Colorado is $150 sq ft. After the initial planning scope, costs were adjusted down and items limited to $470,000. However, after much prayer and waiting for God to work on our behalf, services and supplies began being donated in every area of construction, which brought the total construction cost down to $150,000. AMAZING!!! Thank you, Jesus.
*As of this update, $74,809 has been donated and paid toward construction. We are halfway to the finish line.
MISSION:
The biblical mandate for each generation is to tell the next generation about God's work (Psalm 78:4-7), (Psalm 145:4). Emphasizing the importance of passing on the truth about God's power, miracles, and words, ensuring His deeds are not forgotten. The expansion adds to the mission with space for elementary, middle-school, & high school ages. Plus, it adds an expanded coffee shop for fellowship and community outreach. It’s so wonderful.
Side note, we’ve decided to call it “The Overflow Café’” which will partner with a local Christian coffee roaster making proceeds from every cup support global missions.
CALLING ALL SAINTS:
As your pastor, I have the privilege and responsibility to teach you about God; encourage you to trust God; and direct you to serve God. Today this comes together by calling you to join the mission at hand – reaching the next generation.
Over the summer month’s we’ve been Taking Back Our City by praying. We’ve had specific moments joining together to pray over the 115,000 people in our city; we’ve been led to pray for the young families in our city; and now we’re taking steps to prepare a place for new comers – the expansion.
In closing, I want to encourage you to finish the job by bringing in your sacrificial financial contribution. We believe this should be a 100% participation for this fellowship. It’s not a task for a select few, but it’s a call to everyone who attends this church. Regardless of being a regular, sporadic, first-time, last time, or any time attender. I’m asking for your joint participation as we set aim for the finish line. Lord willing, we hope to have the expansion online before Easter of 2026. Will you join in today?
