The Reality of a Blended Family

Many times the word of God goes out to people, but more times than not, the message is missed because the simple things of God are passed over by the individuals. This isn’t the case with Jacob. At 77 years old he’s finally getting the message and it’s becoming personal to him throughout all the areas of his life. It’s a beautiful thing when a person begins to grow in the Lord and the lights come on. In Genesis 29 & 30 we now see Jacob serving Laban and the Lord teaching him the reality of the character issues that need to be worked out of him. It didn’t matter that he changed his location, Jacob still had to deal with himself!
